We’re thrilled to announce the 2024 launch of the Pride Cup Community Grants Program.
Pride Cup has grants up to the value of $1000 available for fifteen sporting clubs in regional Victoria, to cover essential event expenses, such as Pride uniforms, guest speakers, food and beverages, and entertainment. The grants program is open to sports clubs and organisations located in regional or peri-urban Victoria.
Applications are open from 23 February, and close 30 March, 2024.
Creating safe and inclusive sporting environments for everyone, regardless of they are or who they love, is the reason for Pride Cup’s existence. But the cost of hosting a first Pride Cup can stop some clubs from hosting their first PrideGame. That’s why we’re offering grants to empower regional or peri-urban* teams in Victoria to host their inaugural Pride Cup event in the 2024 winter sporting season.
There’s a number of things to consider and prepare before you start the application form, including:
- The club must be hosting its inaugural PrideGame event.
- The club must be located in regional or peri-urban Victoria.
- Clubs are required to provide receipts for expenditures totalling $1000.
- The PrideGame or PrideRound must take place between March 30th, 2024, and October 31st, 2024.
- Teams participating must be in adult (18+) competitions.
- The club must conduct one inclusion education session with Pride Cup.

The Pride Cup Community Grants Program is supported by the Victorian Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Pride Events and Festivals Fund 2024 (PEFF).
