We know that the last 18 months haven’t been fun for anybody – we’ve all been feeling pretty disconnected from our support networks and sports families during the pandemic.
But now, it’s time to come out of hibernation, reconnect with our friends and teammates and get active!
The Pride Cup Summer Social Series is all about fun in the sun! They’re easy-to-run events for any kind of summer sport activity: from organised team sports, to social sport, and even just one-off games in the park with your mates!
No matter your summer sport activity, we want to see you flying the pride flag and decking yourself out in rainbows to raise awareness for LGBTI+ inclusion in sport.
Sport plays an incredible role in connecting us all to our communities and improving our mental health, but there are some barriers to entry for LGBTI+ people…
Only 6% of young LGBTI+ people have participated in team sports because they don’t feel safe or welcome – we want to change sporting culture and we need you!
We want to see teams across the country decked out in rainbows, getting together to show that sport is for everyone, so join us this summer to have fun, make and impact and get the chance to win a cool prize!
Once you’ve gathered a group of friends or rallied your summer sport team mates, pick a date and register your Pride Cup Summer Social game.

Be sure to print out your posters and stick them up in highly visible places so everyone knows what you’re up to and why it matters.
