Introducing our new CEO

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing Hayley Conway as Pride Cup’s new CEO.

Hayley has worked in both Australia and across the globe, spearheading campaigns for LGBTIQ+ communities, including high-profile campaigns that led to the International Olympic Committee agreeing to protect LGBTQ+ fans and athletes from discrimination and was instrumental in the marriage equality movement in Australia.

She joins us at an exciting and generation-defining moment with Australia and New Zealand firmly in the global spotlight this year with both World Pride and the FIFA Women’s World Cup on our doorstep. These two events have Pride Cup’s reason for existing at their core; to showcase diversity and the power of inclusion. Hayley will be optimising and driving our exposure and message at these events and will continue to build stronger and more inclusive communities everywhere to transform the lives of young LGBTIQ+ people.

Hayley commented on the appointment;

“I am incredibly excited about the role as it will allow me to live out my commitment to equality for everyone. Sport can build powerful and inclusive communities and I can’t wait to get started and witness the impact Pride Cup can have.”

Hayley starts the role on 3 April, so please join me in welcoming Hayley to the Pride Cup Family!
