Every LGBTIQ+ person has the right to play sport, and our gender identities are protected under federal anti-discrimination law. 

Our laws are imperfect, and they often don’t prevent discrimination, harassment, exclusion, or the fear that can come with being identifiably LGBTIQ+.

2024 saw record numbers of sport clubs across Australia, at every level, participating in LGBTIQ+ inclusion education and celebrating our communities in PrideGame and PrideRound events. 

It was the 10th anniversary of the first ever Pride Cup. 

We’re not stopping. We stand with every trans, gender diverse, and intersex person who wants to play sport and live as their full selves. 

Sport is for everyone.
