Funding, education and support for clubs in ACT and Southern NSW to deliver an inclusive Pride Cup event.
Whether your club wants to host one PrideGame event against an opposition, your league wants to run a PrideRound, or you want to run a come and try day at your club that is Pride themed - we’ll support you to make your vision a reality.
Looking to host your first Pride Cup event?
In partnership with The Snow Foundation, we’re thrilled launch a new Community Pride Cup Fund. This ground breaking initiative will provide funding to 15 sport clubs to host LGBTIQ+ inclusion events in the Australian Capital Territory and Southern New South Wales during the 2025-2026 summer and winter sports seasons.
Pride Cup has grants up to the value of $1000 available to cover essential event expenses, such as Pride uniforms, guest speakers, food and beverages, and entertainment. The grants program is open to sports clubs and organisations located in the Australian Capital Territory and Southern New South Wales.
PrideGame events must be held by 15 September 2026. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, so apply now!
Successful applicants will receive the following:
$1000 Grant
Your club will receive a $1,000 contribution towards reusable rainbow game day assets, such as pride uniforms.
LGBTIQ+ Education
Your club and your opposition will receive a FREE session in the lead-up to your PrideGame event. Equip your club with the tools to challenge discrimination.
Game Day Support
Receive access to our expert guidance, and organiser handbook; your step-by-step guide to running your PrideGame event.
Event Promotion
We’ll also help promote your event to your local community on our website and through our social media channels.
Can your club apply?
You're eligible if:
- Your club is based in ACT or Southern NSW
- Your club is hosting its inaugural PrideGame event.
- You must conduct one inclusion education session with Pride Cup.
- You can provide receipts for expenditure totalling $1000.
- You can host your event before September 15th, 2026.
- Teams participating must be in adult (18+) competitions.
- Clubs must adhere to the Grant Terms and Conditions.

Applications remain open until all funding is allocated.
This fund is for clubs hosting their first Pride Game. However, if you're a men's team looking to apply whose women's side has previously hosted a Pride Round, you are still eligible to apply and vice versa.
Funding can be used for event-related costs such as uniforms, activation, marketing and delivery. You need to keep itemised receipts to show proof of purchase upon the completion of
