Greensborough Hockey Club - known as 'The Burra' - was founded in 1959 and is the largest hockey club in Melbourne's north-east, playing from a two-pitch home facility at the Greensborough Hockey Centre.

Greensborough hosts its Pride round on 20 June 2026 against Hawthorn Hockey Club. The home team will wear pride/rainbow socks, with medals awarded for best players.
