About This Event
Hockey Tasmania is the sport's governing body across the state, running competitions from the Tasmanian Hockey Centre in Hobart's south through to clubs on the North-West Coast.
What's On
Hockey Tasmania's Pride Cup returns statewide from 22–28 June 2026 as part of Pride Month, with clubs across the state encouraged to wear rainbow colours and share inclusive messages throughout the week. The Pride Cup itself is awarded on an aggregate points system, with the club scoring highest on average across the week crowned champion - inaugural winners Queechy Penguins set the standard in 2025. Hockey Tasmania also runs a free online Pride in Sport information session on Wednesday 24 June, 6–7pm, open to any club rep keen to learn how to become an active ally for the LGBTIQ hockey community.
