Pride Cup and the UK Government are delighted to bring you the Pride Cup Community Cricket Series - inspired by the Ashes and celebrating LGBTI+ inclusion in sport with three community Pride Cups in Geelong, Canberra and Newcastle across February and March 2022. These Pride Cups will be a celebration of the diverse identities that help make our international cricket teams so unique and impactful throughout the LGBTI+ community. We are also celebrating the historic rivalry between the UK and Australia with exhibition matches at each of the games in this series. 11:45am - Welcome to Country 12:00pm - Curtain Raiser Match – Australia v England 12:30pm – Ongoing entertainment, warm-up 1:00pm – 3 concurrent matches: Collendina v. South Barwon, East Belmont v. Lethbridge, North Geelong v. Lara 4:00pm – Presentation of Pride Cup and medals This is an accessible venue, with ramp access and accessible toilets. This event is taking place on Wadawurrung Land.
