About This Event
Sorell Tennis Club, opened in 1918, is a family-friendly, inclusive club based in Sorell, about 20 minutes from Hobart, offering social and competitive tennis for the local community. It's teaming up with Hobart Out Tennis Club - Tasmania's only LGBTIQ+ tennis club and, per Tennis Australia, one of the country's leading LGBTQI+ sports clubs - for this event.
What's On
The two clubs come together for an LGBTQIA+ Fire Pot Night on 28 August 2026, part of Pride Cup's Serving with Pride program - an evening built for connection, bringing Tasmania's queer tennis community together for sport, social time and celebration. The night kicks off with cardio and structured tennis games, moving into social tennis and wrapping up with a BBQ.
