Movember x Pride Cup Community Club Fund
Pride Cup and Movember are partnering to deliver a groundbreaking sporting initiative that will help change the face of men’s health in sport, and support community sporting teams in hosting their first Pride Cup event.
Movember is on a mission to help men, and therefore their communities, live healthier, longer lives. Through the power of sport and evidence-based resources and programs, Movember is engaging young men and their support networks to confront, challenge and change individual behaviours, systems and gender norms.
In partnering with Pride Cup, Movember's goal is to reduce homophobic behaviour in sport by engaging young men in meaningful conversations about inclusion, respect, and belonging.
Having supported over 1000 sporting teams to host Pride Cup events, we recognise that many clubs first engage in Pride Games through their teams in women’s competitions, with men’s competitions following later. This project aims to shift that trend by providing direct support to 15 teams in men's competitions across Australia to host their first Pride Cup.
Together, Pride Cup and Movember look forward to creating safer and more inclusive sporting ecosystems in Aussie sport.
Looking to host your first Pride Cup event?
Whether your club wants to host one PrideGame event against an opposition, or your league wants to run a PrideRound - we’ll support you to make your vision a reality.
Applications for the 2025/2026 summer season are open, and will be approved on a rolling basis.
Successful applicants will receive the following:
Up to $1000 Club Grant
To help cover essential event costs such as rainbow-themed uniforms, socks for your team, or inspiring guest speakers.
LGBTIQ+ Education
Your club and your opposition will receive a free inclusion education session, equipping your team with the tools to challenge discrimination
Game Day Support
Receive access to our expert guidance, and a bespoke organiser handbook; your step-by-step guide to running your PrideGame event.
Event Promotion
We’ll amplify your event across our website and social media channels to help engage your community.
Can your club apply?
Your club is eligible if:
- You're a men's competition team who will be hosting its first Pride Game event. Teams are still eligible to apply even if their women's competition teams have previously hosted a Pride Game.
- The PrideGame event must take place before May 18, 2026
(date extended from December 2025). - Clubs must provide receipts for expenditure up to $1000. Priority will be given to teams investing funds into reusable uniforms.
- Clubs must conduct one inclusion education session with Pride Cup, with 75% of the team in attendance.
- Clubs must adhere to the Grant Terms and Conditions.
How to Apply
Applications are now open and will be assessed on a rolling basis. Clubs can submit an application if they are already in the process of planning their PrideGame event, or can submit an application and new expression of interest in hosting. Successful applicants will receive tailored support throughout their inclusion journey.

A Pride Game event is a dedicated match or round that celebrates inclusion and challenges discrimination in sport.
Applications remain open until all funding is allocated. Your PrideGame must be completed by 18 May 2026, so final submissions are happening now.
This fund is for men's clubs hosting their first Pride Game. However, if you're a men's team looking to apply whose women's side has previously hosted a Pride Round, you are still eligible to apply and vice versa.
Funding can be used for event-related costs such as uniforms, activation, marketing and delivery. You need to keep itemised receipts to show proof of purchase upon the completion of your event.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You’ll be notified if successful within a few business days of your submission.
