Kick off your Serving Pride journey! This workshop introduces the importance of Pride events in tennis and offers guidance on creating safe, welcoming environments for LGBTIQ+ players and fans.
Content: Includes LGBTIQ+ inclusion basics, gender-inclusive language, barriers to sport, DEI’s role in performance, and active bystander skills.
Outcome: Clubs gain the foundational skills and confidence to host meaningful, inclusive Serving Pride events.
2. Serving Pride Advantage Workshop
Audience: Clubs in their second year of hosting +
Format: Online or in-person
Take your club’s inclusion efforts further by exploring what’s working, identifying growth areas, and learning how to engage with the wider LGBTIQ+ community.
Content: Includes sharing experiences, practical inclusion strategies, and tips on collaborating with local LGBTIQ+ groups and businesses.
Outcome: Actionable steps to deepen club inclusion and community connections.
3. Serving Pride Champion Workshop
Audience: Champion clubs with three years of hosting +
Format: Online or in-person
For clubs ready to lead in inclusion, choose from two specialised topics to broaden understanding and refine inclusive practices:
- LGBTIQ+ Inclusion Across Cultures: Explore LGBTIQ+ experiences within diverse ethnicities, faiths, and First Nations communities.
- Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion in Sport: Gain insights into gender diversity and current Australian laws and policies supporting trans inclusion.
